The in-house organizer is responsible for all the following unless otherwise agreed.

Venue for the class

Classroom The organizer will provide the classroom where the training will be conducted. The classroom should provide a comfortable climate with adequate working space for the students. If the training is "hands-on" the organizer will provide the necessary equipment. If students are expected to bring notebook computers to class, an adequate power source and outlets should be provided.

Food and Beverages The organizer should make sure that food and beverages are readily available in close proximity to the classroom for the start of class, breaks, and meals. If the organizer is not providing the food and beverages then the organizer must make sure that food and beverages are available through some other agency.

All training sessions have breaks every 2 hours. Day sessions generally break for 15 to 20 minutes between 10:00 and 10:30am and between 3:00-3:30pm. Lunch break is normally at noon. Specific break times are published in the class outlines. Break and meal times can be arranged to suit the organizer and local custom.

Printing and distributing class materials

A master copy of the class materials will be provided to the organizer by Ideva in advance of the scheduled dates. The organizer is permitted to make as many paper copies as are needed for the students attending the class. All materials are copyrighted. The organizer is not permitted to reproduce these materials for resale or general distribution under this agreement.

The in-house organizer will need to see that paper copies are created for each student who will attend. Class materials are normally distributed to the students on the day of the class or presentation. If the class is canceled for some reason, permission to reprint the class materials is also canceled.

Presentation equipment and supplies in the classroom

The organizer will provide the following equipment for the instructor’s use in the classroom:

Note: This equipment must be available on the day before the class to allow for setup and testing.

  • Projection equipment for the instructor’s PC.  Alternatively, the instructor can use an in house Windows based PC with PowerPoint 2007, and USB connection, internet connection or CD reader to conduct the training.   All the tutorials and presentations are set up to be run on a web browser or MS PowerPoint 2007 projected through a PC projector or an IBM PC compatible color Projection Panel (also called a tablet) and High Intensity Overhead Projector, this projection equipment must be provided by the organizer.
  • A PA system if the room is large enough to require one.
  • PC Speakers or sound amplification  (optional)
  • White board and pens or a large easel pad and 4 color pens should be available in the room.
  • A phone line and local access to the Internet (ID, password, and local phone number with instructions) While the classes can be conducted stand-alone, a connection to the Internet adds significantly to the quality of the classes.
  • A backup PC should be available if the need should arise. Minimum configuration: 100MHz Pentium with 32meg RAM, Hard Drive with 300meg free space, CD, Windows 95, Internet capable.
